In addition to this project, I am the founder and head of the company beHoney., Which I founded in 2015 on the basis of the apiary of my grandfather - Trygub Vasily Alekseevich, a beekeeper with 40 years of experience.

What is an interesting name on your site?

Baka is my last name, the last name of my mother, who heads the honey department, is responsible for the production of honey, honey desserts and controls the quality of all food products. This is the name of my dad and my uncle, who are responsible for the production of wooden packaging in their own carpentry shop.

Adidas, Siemens, Casio, Ford and Honda are a list of companies that were created 100 years ago by entrepreneurs of that time and named after themselves, who changed the course of history, creating a quality, innovative product. For me, this is a great and motivating example to follow. And somewhere deep in my heart, I also want my business to exist in 100 years, develop by grandchildren and bring satisfaction to our dear customers.

Why I decided to allocate gifts in a separate section from beHoney.?

ЯPractice shows that 90% of all customers do not give the same type of gifts twice in a row, so it was only a matter of time - when we begin to expand the range. We have a company in our portfolio that has been ordering honey gifts in different variations for four years in a row - we are very proud of this case. In addition, most of our non-honey gifts are ours from our esteemed customers, some needed whiskey sets, some needed mulled wine sets, and a non-honey corporate gift unit was created. If you have an interesting idea for a gift set, but you do not find analogues - we will be happy to help you in the organization. We will not charge you for the development, visualization and basic samples - the main thing is that it was not in the midst of the New Year season from 15.09 to 25.12 each year.

How did I come to start doing gift sets?

In 2015, the brand "beHoney." Appeared, unofficially I started working on the project in the spring, while working as a bank clerk. The whole business at that time was very simple in my eyes: I ship packaged honey to outlets with meat and sausage products in the Kyiv metro and everyone is satisfied. But this model was lightning-fast because we didn't think about our client's portrait at all at the time, and I didn't even get close to our "target audience." Unfortunately, no one is looking for honey in the transition next to the sausage. In early July 2015, it became clear that working in a bank and developing your own business will definitely not work. I was at a crossroads, I had to either close the idea or quit my job. Which I did on July 15th! After the release, single shops began to appear that sold our products - but these were not the volumes and amounts that could give hope for at least some future.

Turning point - the first corporate order "Baker McKenzie"

And, apparently, everything went to its logical conclusion, but in early December we were approached by the international company "Baker McKenzie" - which had to make 120 gifts, 3 jars of honey in each set. This was a turning point, I realized how interesting it is to sell honey, creating added value.

There were many difficulties with that order:

  • The printers did not want to hire such a small edition of stickers
  • A separate question was the packaging - what exactly to put jars of honey?
  • And when they solved this question - they realized that ordering the right boxes in the midst of the New Year season - a very difficult task
  • We packed the kits until 4.30 to have time on time

In 5 years of work we have produced more than 25,000 honey corporate gifts

The difficulties we faced then - largely determined the vector of our development for the next 5 years.

What are the main achievements of beHoney for these 5 years:
